How much does Kick pay streamers in 2026?
How much does Kick pay? A sub pays the streamer $4.75 of its flat $5, tips in KICKs pay 95%, and streamers in the Kick Partner Program are also paid for every stream, by the size of their audience. Here's what each pays in 2026, the Kick Partner Program requirements, how Partner pay is worked out, what multistreaming does to it, when Kick pays out, and how clips grow a channel.

In short
- Subs: $5 a month in every country, and you keep 95% ($4.75). Gifted subs pay the same. KICKs, Kick's tipping currency, pay 95% of their value too.
- Subs switch on after 5 hours streamed in total. The Kick Partner Program, which pays per stream, needs a verified channel, 75 average viewers, 30 hours, 25 subs, 250 chatters and 3 VODs in 30 days, and 250 followers.
- Kick publishes no Partner Program rate. It says pay is worked out from your average audience over your recent streams, plus language and region, and counts only genuine viewers. Ads on Kick don't pay streamers anything extra.
- Multistreaming to Twitch or YouTube cuts Partner pay to 50% while it's on. Kick pays through Stripe, monthly, or weekly for verified streamers who ask.

How much does Kick pay streamers?
Kick doesn't pay one rate for everything. What a streamer earns depends on which step they've reached: subs and tips come first, and the Kick Partner Program pays for each stream on top of them:
| Source | What you get | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | 95% of a flat $5 sub: $4.75, gifted or not | Streamers with subs on, after 5 hours streamed |
| KICKs | 95% of the value of the KICKs viewers send you | Streamers with Streamer status and Stripe set up |
| Kick Partner Program | Pay for each stream, by your average audience. No rate is published | Verified streamers Kick accepts into the program |
| Bounties | Prizes set in each Bounty: gifted subs, KICKs, KICK Shop gift cards | The winners of each Bounty |
| Ads | Nothing extra: Kick says ads don't pay streamers directly | Nobody, beyond Partner pay |
Kick calls its split “95/5” and describes the 5% as a processing fee. Its Partner Program page says the program has paid out more than $400 million since it began in 2024, and that creators with the same viewer count “consistently earn three to four times more on KICK”. That last line is Kick's claim, with no figures behind it on the page, so treat it as marketing until your own dashboard shows it. Kick doesn't publish what streamers earn on average.
How much does Kick pay per sub?
A Kick sub costs $5 a month, the same in every country Kick supports: there are no tiers and no regional prices, and every sub, gifted sub and KICKs purchase is priced in US dollars. You keep 95%, so each sub pays you $4.75. A gifted sub pays exactly the same, and gifted subs count toward your active subs for verification and the Partner Program.
| Subs a month | On Kick (95% of $5) | On Twitch (50% of $5.99, before taxes and fees) |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | $47.50 | $30.00 |
| 50 | $237.50 | $150.00 |
| 100 | $475.00 | $300.00 |
| 500 | $2,375.00 | $1,500.00 |
| 1,000 | $4,750.00 | $3,000.00 |
Twitch's numbers are for a US sub on the web; Twitch lowers sub prices in many countries, while Kick's stay at $5, so the gap is often wider outside the US. Twitch's Plus Program can raise its share to 70%: the whole picture is in how much Twitch pays.
Getting subs switched on takes 5 hours of streaming in total, built up over as many streams as you like. The Enable Subscriptions button then appears in your Streamer Dashboard; you set up a Stripe account in your country, turn on two-factor authentication (Kick requires it to monetize), and subs are on. One naming trap: Kick's help center calls this step Partner in some articles (“How to become a KICK Partner”) and Affiliate in others, including its revenue split article, and the Partner Program page says you must “be an affiliate” before you can be verified. Either way, it isn't the Kick Partner Program, which is the bigger step below.
How the Kick Partner Program pays: per stream, by your audience
The Kick Partner Program (KPP) started in February 2024 as the Kick Creator Incentive Program. Kick's Partner Program page says its revenue “is calculated in real time for every organic view you receive on your live KICK streams, meaning you are paid per stream”, on top of your 95% of subs. One Partner quoted on the same page calls it hourly pay. Kick's help center says how the rate is set:
- A rolling window, not stream by stream. Your rate comes from your recent streams, including the one you're on, so one quiet or busy night doesn't swing it, and a steady audience counts for more than a spike.
- Average audience across that window is the main input.
- Content factors such as your language and region.
- Genuine engagement only. Views, followers or watch time from bots, coordinated accounts or engagement tools never count, and a payout period affected by them is reversed.
There's no public rate per viewer or per hour. Kick says it doesn't publish the formula so it can't be gamed, and the program's terms list “the amount, rate or calculation of any fees payable” to a Partner as confidential. So per-hour figures passed around online are guesses or broken confidences. Your own rate shows in your dashboard once you're in.
What stops Partner pay. Kick's rules demonetize streams in the Just Sleeping and gambling categories (monetization isn't available in Slots and Casino at all), and ask Partners to talk to their viewers, avoid unoriginal or pre-recorded content, and keep VODs up. The terms also give Kick an exclusive, perpetual license to the content you stream as a Partner, so read them before you switch the Partner Income toggle on.
Multistreaming. Partners can stream to Twitch, YouTube and other long-form platforms at the same time, but must switch on the Multistreaming toggle (or type /multi on in chat), and then earn 50% of their usual Partner pay for that session. Multistreaming without the toggle breaks the terms. Vertical streams to YouTube Shorts, TikTok Live or Instagram Live don't need it. Twitch has its own rules for simulcasting, covered in how to start streaming.
Kick Partner Program requirements
Kick has three steps, each with its own bar. Track your progress in the Achievements section of your dashboard:
| Step | What it takes | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions (called Partner or Affiliate) | 5 hours streamed in total, two-factor authentication, and a Stripe account in a supported country | Subs at 95% and gifted subs |
| Verified | In the past 30 days: 15 hours streamed, 50 average concurrent viewers, 100 unique chatters and 10 active subs. Plus a confirmed phone number, two-factor authentication, no username change or rule breaks in 30 days, and 2 VODs on your channel in the past 7 days | Weekly payouts if you ask, replays kept 30 days instead of 7, and the right to apply to the Partner Program |
| Kick Partner Program | A verified channel with an About section and social links, and in the past 30 days: 75 average concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters and 3 VODs. At least 250 followers | Pay for every stream, on top of subs and KICKs |
- Apply by email. Once you meet the bar, email Kick's partnerships team from your account's address with your username. Meeting it makes you eligible to apply, not accepted, and Kick says the metrics may change as the program develops.
- Fast Track skips the streaming requirements for creators with an audience elsewhere: Kick names Twitch Partners, 50,000+ YouTube subscribers, or 250,000+ followers on Instagram or TikTok. You need a Kick account, and Kick says it answers within 24 hours.
- Refused? Make sure you meet the requirements, wait 30 days and apply again. Inflated stats, self-funded subs, mirror or pre-recorded streams and 90 days without streaming can all cost you verification or the program.
“Average concurrent viewers” means people watching at the same moment, averaged over your streams, not total views. That makes 75 a real audience: the same viewer count Twitch's Path to Partner asks for.
KICKs, Bounties and ads: what else Kick pays
- KICKs. Viewers buy KICKs and send them in chat, from 1 to 50,000 at a time, to pin a message in your chat carousel. You keep 95% of their value, once you've reached Streamer status in your Achievements and set up Stripe. Kick's help center doesn't list what a KICK costs, so judge them by the earnings line in your dashboard. Kick's policy bans trading anything of value for KICKs (shout-outs, mod roles, access to a private Discord), and using them for gambling or for giveaways that need KICKs to enter.
- Bounties. Challenges posted at bounties.kick.com for streamers, viewers and developers. Prizes are set in each one: in October 2026, creator Bounties offered gifted subs and viewer Bounties for clips offered KICKs. Fun, and a small extra, but not income you can plan on.
- Ads. Kick launched ads on August 7, 2026, after more than three years without them. They run on streams platform-wide, you can't opt out, and you can delay a break from your dashboard. Kick's help center says ads “do not currently generate direct additional payment”: Partners are paid through the Partner Program. Kick's ad pages say subscribers don't see ads on channels they subscribe to, though its older page on subscriptions says subscribing doesn't remove them.
- Sponsors. Your own sponsorship deals aren't affected by Kick's ads, and the Partnerships screen in your analytics builds a media kit from your stats to send to brands.
How and when Kick pays out
All of Kick's payouts go through Stripe, straight to a bank account in your name:
- How often: monthly. Verified streamers can choose weekly instead, by asking Kick's support team. Kick doesn't do early or on-demand payouts, though some countries' rules make payouts weekly or daily.
- Your first payout comes once Stripe has verified you, at the end of the next monthly cycle: up to 30 days after the month ends.
- How fast it lands: 2 to 3 business days by bank transfer in the US, or minutes to an instant payout debit card (up to $9,000.00 a payout). Elsewhere it usually takes 3 to 7 business days, as payouts leave from Kick's US Stripe account.
- Minimums: Kick's help center gives no minimum of its own, but says some countries' rules impose one.
- Currency: earnings are tracked in US dollars. If your bank uses another currency, Stripe converts it and Kick covers Stripe's 1.5% conversion fee; your bank may still charge its own.
- Taxes: it's income. Kick sends US streamers a 1099 where it applies, and can withhold tax from Partner Program pay where the law requires it.
How much do Kick streamers make? A worked example
Kick publishes no typical income and no Partner rate, so here's the part of a month you can work out. Every number below is an assumption, chosen to show the arithmetic: 80 subs, 40 gifted subs, and KICKs worth $200 sent by viewers.
| Source | Assumed | Calculation | Pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subs | 80 subs | 80 × $4.75 | $380.00 |
| Gifted subs | 40 gifted subs | 40 × $4.75 | $190.00 |
| KICKs | KICKs worth $200 | 95% of $200 | $190.00 |
| Partner pay | Only if you're in the program | Kick's formula: your average audience, language and region | Not published |
| Total, before Partner pay | $760.00 |
The same 120 subs on Twitch's standard split would pay about $360.00 in the US before taxes and fees. That sub gap is real and published. The Partner Program pays on top, and it's the part nobody outside can calculate: it grows with your average audience, halves while you multistream, and stops on streams in demonetized categories. It also leaves out what many streamers earn off Kick, like sponsors and uploads of their streams on YouTube.
Growing a Kick channel: clips, and paying clippers
Every line above scales with your audience: subs, KICKs and the average viewers that set Partner pay. A stream mostly reaches people who already follow you. A clip on TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Reels reaches people who don't, because those feeds show videos by what people watch, and some of them come to the next stream.
- Clip your own streams. Kick's clip button makes 10-second to 3-minute clips you can download as MP4s, and replays stay up 7 days (30 once you're verified). The whole process is in how to clip Kick streams, and the free split screen video maker stacks your webcam over the game for a phone.
- Or pay clippers. Some Kick streamers pay clippers per view on the clips they post. Tubefilter reported on April 29, 2026, citing Business Insider, that one paid more than $1.4 million to 303 clippers in 5 weeks, at $40 per 100,000 views, and that part of his clipper network is apparently paid by Kick. Kick hasn't published a clipping program of its own beyond Bounties.
- Campaigns are how most of it runs. On Content Rewards, the campaign platform that pays through Whop, the campaigns listed on October 20, 2026 paid $0.60 to $2 per 1,000 views, and it takes 10% of what clippers earn. See Whop clipping for how those campaigns work, and how to make money clipping for the clipper's side. Work out what a campaign costs you, or pays a clipper, with the clipping earnings calculator.
By hand, clipping a stream means watching hours of replay again for the moments, cutting each one, laying out the webcam and the game for a phone and captioning every word. That's the part Clyper does. It doesn't take Kick links, so upload the replay or your own recording (MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV, up to 4 GB and 4 hours), or paste the YouTube link if you upload your streams there. It reads the transcript, picks the best moments and cuts each on whole sentences, scores each clip's hook, stacks your webcam over the game (the top 1080 × 608), frames you alone when there's no game on screen, and captions every word. A four-hour stream uses 240 credits and gives up to 30 clips, as 1080 × 1920 MP4s with no watermark. More in stream clips with Clyper.
Questions
How much does Kick pay per sub?
$4.75. A Kick sub costs a flat $5 a month in every country, and the streamer keeps 95%, with 5% taken as a processing fee. Gifted subs pay the same.
How much does Kick pay per hour or per viewer?
Kick doesn't publish a rate. Partner Program pay is worked out per stream from your average audience over your recent streams, plus factors like language and region, and the program's terms keep each Partner's rate confidential.
What are the Kick Partner Program requirements?
A verified channel with an About section and social links, and in the past 30 days: 75 average concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters and 3 VODs, plus 250 followers. Then apply by email; meeting the bar doesn't guarantee entry.
How many hours do you need to stream to get subs on Kick?
5 hours in total, across as many streams as you like. Then the Enable Subscriptions button appears in your dashboard, and you set up Stripe and two-factor authentication to start earning.
Does Kick pay streamers for ads?
Not directly. Kick launched ads in August 2026 and says they don't generate extra payment for streamers: Partners are paid through the Kick Partner Program, and other streamers earn from subs and KICKs.
Does multistreaming lower your Kick pay?
Yes, for Partners. With the Multistreaming toggle on, which Kick requires when you stream to Twitch or YouTube too, you earn 50% of your usual Partner pay for that session. Vertical streams to TikTok Live, Shorts or Instagram Live don't count.
