What a credit buys

A credit is a minute of the video you put in, so a plan is how much video you can clip in a month. A one-hour podcast uses 60 credits and gives up to 30 clips. On Pro billed yearly, that's $2.85 of its month, or $0.10 a clip.

What it takes to earn a plan back

Clipping campaigns pay in dollars, for the views your clips get, and each sets its own rate. At $1 per 1,000 views, about the middle of what campaigns advertised in October 2026, Starter's $20 is 20,000 views in a month, across every clip you post: one clip that takes off, or 75 clips at about 267 views each.

No campaign pays for every clip: posts under its minimum views earn nothing, and some get turned down, for reasons that are in why clipping campaigns reject clips. How much does Clyper cost?

In US dollars: Starter is $20 a month; Pro is $38 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly; Studio is $96 a month, or $48 a month billed yearly, with 2× and 4× sizes for more credits. The plans on this page show in your own currency where Clyper prices in it.

Is there a free plan or a free trial?

No. Starter is month to month with no commitment, so you can try Clyper for a month and cancel anytime. The free tools, like the vertical video converter and the clips per video calculator, need no account.

What is a credit?

One minute of source video. Every video uses at least 10, and the same however many clips you ask for: a 30-minute video uses 30 credits whether you want 3 clips or 15. If a video doesn't produce any clips, you get the credits back.

How many clips does each plan make?

Up to 75 a month on Starter, 200 on Pro and 500 on Studio, at 2 credits a clip. You choose how many clips each video gives, up to one for every 2 minutes of it and 30 in all.

What does Pro add over Starter?

400 credits a month instead of 150, all 5 caption styles instead of Pop only, a hook headline that opens every clip for 4 seconds, and a brand kit of up to 10 caption styles of your own. Billed yearly, it costs less a month than Starter.

Do the clips have a watermark?

No, on any plan. Every clip downloads as a 1080 × 1920 MP4, ready to post on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

How does yearly billing work?

Pro and Studio can be billed once a year for 50% less than month to month. You get the plan's credits every month of the year. Starter is billed monthly only.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Move to a bigger plan or size from Billing in the app at any time: it's paid there and then, and the extra credits are yours straight away. A smaller plan, monthly billing or cancelling is in the billing portal.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Open Billing in the app and choose Manage billing. Your plan, and its credits, stay until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I pay in my own currency?

In 41 currencies besides US dollars: the plans show in yours, and checkout charges what they show. Everywhere else, the plans are in US dollars.
