The same views on a clipping campaign
Clipping campaigns pay per 1,000 views on the clips you post, often $0.50 to $3. At $1, 1M views a month would pay $1,000, about 1× the TikTok payout.
An estimate. TikTok pays Creator Rewards on qualified views and doesn't publish a rate: it depends on watch time, location, search value, engagement and advertising value. The range is what creators reported in 2025 and 2026.
How TikTok pays creators
The Creator Rewards Program pays for qualified views on videos at least a minute long. TikTok works out a rate per 1,000 qualified views from how well each video does: how long people watch and how many finish it, where you and your viewers are, how much people search for what it's about, how much they engage, and how much advertising they watch. Videos that are well made, in 1080p or higher, engaging and specialized can earn an additional reward on top.
It replaced the Creator Fund, which creators reported paid about 2 to 4 cents per 1,000 views. The rates reported for Creator Rewards are many times that, but only for longer, original videos.
What counts as a qualified view
Only unique views from the For You feed, watched for at least 5 seconds. Views that are paid for, promoted, fraudulent, artificial or disliked don't count, and a video starts earning once it reaches 1,000 For You feed views. So the total view count on a video is always higher than the views it's paid for.
Where clippers get paid
TikTok's rewards are for original content: things you designed, filmed and produced, not other people's videos with a filter, a sticker or fixed text added. That's why clippers are usually paid by clipping campaigns instead, which pay a set amount per 1,000 views on the clips you post, by their own rules. Questions
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
TikTok doesn't publish a rate, and its terms ask creators to keep their numbers private. Creators report about $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views from the Creator Rewards Program, for videos at least a minute long.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
At the reported $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, about $400 to $1,000. Only qualified views count: unique For You feed views watched for at least 5 seconds, on eligible videos.
What is a qualified view on TikTok?
A unique view from the For You feed, watched for at least 5 seconds, that isn't paid, promoted, fraudulent or disliked. A video starts earning once it reaches 1,000 For You feed views.
How do I join the Creator Rewards Program?
You need to be 18 or older with a personal account, 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, in one of the countries where it runs: the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Mexico or Brazil. Join from TikTok Studio, then post original videos at least a minute long.
Do clips of other people's videos earn on TikTok?
Not from Creator Rewards. TikTok counts content copied from others, or reproduced with only slight changes like filters, fixed text or stickers, as not original, and doesn't reward it. Clippers are usually paid by the campaigns they post for instead.
Is the calculator free?
Yes, with nothing to sign up for, and what you type stays in your browser.
Post more, with less editing
Views come from posting often. Paste a YouTube link and Clyper finds the best moments, frames them vertically and captions every word: up to 30 clips per video.
