Clyper vs Ssemble
Ssemble is an AI clipping tool for talking videos: it clips a long video in 20-minute parts, a credit each, scores the clips and schedules them. Clyper reads the whole video, up to 4 hours, and picks the best moments from all of it, for podcasts and streams alike. Every clip comes cut to whole sentences, framed on whoever's talking, captioned in 50+ languages and scored.

Our take
We make Clyper, so this is our case for it. What we say about Ssemble comes from its own site and help center, linked at the bottom.
Ssemble costs little, and it suits short talking videos. If you clip for campaigns, we'd pick Clyper for everything else. Ssemble's help center says it works only for talking videos, so gaming streams and videos without a face don't suit it, and it clips a long video as 20-minute parts, each one its own project. Clyper reads the whole video, up to 4 hours, picks its best moments from all of it and stacks a stream's webcam over the game.
Clyper also captions 50+ languages word by word, where Ssemble's pricing page says over 30, and takes uploads up to 4 GB, where Ssemble's stop at 30 minutes and 1 GB.
Why clippers pick Clyper over Ssemble
The best moments of the whole video
A Ssemble credit clips up to 20 minutes of a video, and its help center says a longer one is clipped in parts of 20 minutes, a credit each: a 5-hour video is 15. Clyper reads the whole video, from a minute to 4 hours, and you choose how many clips it gives, up to 30, picked from all of it. Each runs 20 to 60 seconds and starts and ends on a whole sentence.
Podcasts and streams alike
Ssemble's help center says its clipper works only for talking videos, and lists videos without a face, gaming, music and live videos among the ones it doesn't suit. Clyper follows whoever's talking, cuts to the other person when they answer, and stacks a stream's webcam over the game, so the same tool clips a podcast, an interview or a gaming stream.
Clipping someone else's video still takes their permission, which clipping campaigns give.
Captions in 50+ languages
Ssemble's pricing page and FAQ say its captions cover over 30 languages (some of its tool pages give more). Clyper captions 50+, in the video's own language, word by word, in 5 animated styles placed inside every app's safe zone. If one needs a nudge, trim it, extend either end by up to 15 seconds or fix a word.
Long uploads, and links in bulk
Ssemble takes public YouTube links and Twitch and Kick VODs, but its uploads run 1 to 30 minutes and up to 1 GB. Clyper takes any public or unlisted YouTube link, or a file up to 4 GB, from a minute to 4 hours, and Studio takes 10 links at once.

Where Ssemble does more
Ssemble does more after the clips. It schedules to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram from a calendar, and its Channel Automation clips each new upload from a channel you choose and can post the clips that score above a line you set. It adds B-roll, sound effects, zooms, meme hooks and music, has a sports mode that follows the ball, an API, and Clip Rewards, a marketplace of clipping campaigns that pay by views.
Clyper makes the clips and hands them over as 1080 × 1920 MP4s with no watermark, so any scheduler takes them as they are.
Switching from Ssemble

- Post the way you do now. Download the clips and post or schedule them as before. Clipping streams? See how to clip streams.
