OpusClip pricing in 2026

OpusClip sells minutes of video: 60 a month free with a watermark, 150 on Starter for $15, and 300 on Pro for $29, or $14.50 a month billed yearly. Here's what each plan includes, what an hour of video comes to, and what a month of clipping costs on it. For clippers, the bigger difference isn't the price: OpusClip asks you to confirm a YouTube channel is yours before it clips a link, and Clyper takes any public link.

Prices are in US dollars before tax, as OpusClip's pricing page lists them. Starter is sold month to month only: its help center says Pro is the only plan billed monthly or yearly. Pro comes in packs, each another 300 minutes a month and 2 more team seats, up to 4 seats; the table shows one pack. Business is priced by its sales team, for bigger teams and volumes.

OpusClip's free plan

OpusClip's free plan gives 60 credits a month, so 60 minutes of video. Its pricing page lists clips at up to 1080p with a watermark, no editing, and clips that can no longer be exported after 3 days. The virality score, the editor and watermark-free exports start with Starter.

Clyper has no free plan. Starter is $20 month to month, for 150 minutes of video, and every plan's clips download as 1080p MP4s with no watermark.

How OpusClip's credits work

A credit is a minute of video. OpusClip's help center says clipping costs 1 credit for each minute of the original video, with part minutes rounded down and anything under a minute counted as one: it charges for the video's length, not for the clips. To spend fewer, you clip part of a video instead of all of it. Posting a clip to X takes credits too, 3 a clip for each X account.

So the price to compare is what an hour of video costs once a plan's minutes are used up. Clyper charges the same way, a credit a minute of video (at least 10 a video), however many clips you ask for.

An hour of video, with the plan's minutes used up
PlanBilled monthlyBilled yearly
OpusClip Starter$6Monthly only
OpusClip Pro$5.80$2.90
Clyper Starter$8Monthly only
Clyper Pro$5.70$2.85
Clyper Studio$5.76$2.88

In US dollars. Clyper's Pro and Studio come to less an hour than OpusClip's Pro, billed either way; its Starter comes to more than OpusClip's.

What a month of clipping costs on OpusClip

Say you clip 5 one-hour videos a month: 300 minutes. That's exactly Pro's 300, so on OpusClip it's Pro, at $14.50 a month billed yearly or $29 month to month; Starter's 150 minutes cover half of it. Past 300 minutes, you add packs to Pro.

On OpusClip

  • 300 minutes of video

Pro: $14.50 a month, billed yearly

$174 a year, or $29 month to month

In US dollars, as its pricing page lists them.

On Clyper

Pro

$19a month, billed yearly

or $38 month to month

  • 300 of its 400 minutes a month, with 100 to spare
  • Up to 150 clips, 30 from each video, for the same price as fewer
  • $3.80 a video, or $0.13 a clip at the most clips, billed yearly

On Clyper the same month is Pro: $19 a month billed yearly, or $38 month to month, in US dollars, with 100 minutes to spare, room for another of the videos. So for exactly 300 minutes, OpusClip's Pro costs less a month; Clyper's gives more minutes for the money, an hour of video coming to $2.85 on Pro billed yearly against $2.90.

For clippers, what decides it is the link, not the price. Campaigns hand you other creators' videos, and OpusClip clips a YouTube link only once you've confirmed the channel is yours.

Why clippers pick Clyper over OpusClip

  1. It clips any YouTube link, with no channel check

OpusClip's help center says that when you add a video by its YouTube link, you'll be asked to confirm the channel is yours. If you can't, it suggests submitting the video another way, or adding the channel's owner to your workspace to verify it, so a campaign's video goes in some other way, like downloading it and uploading the file.

Clyper takes any public or unlisted YouTube link, and Twitch VOD, Google Drive and Dropbox links, up to 4 hours of a video at a time. Either way, you need permission to post clips of someone else's video, which clipping campaigns give.

  2. More minutes for the money on Pro

Clyper Pro is 400 minutes a month for $19 billed yearly; OpusClip Pro is 300 for $14.50. That's $2.85 an hour of video against $2.90, and $5.70 against $5.80 month to month. Studio is 1,000 minutes for $48 a month billed yearly, at about the same rate, and comes in 2× and 4× for more.

  3. As many clips as you want from each video

Both charge for the minutes, so on both, more clips from a video don't cost more. On Clyper you choose how many you get: up to one for every 2 minutes of video and 30 from one video, or Auto, about 10 an hour. Each runs 20 to 60 seconds, starts and ends on a whole sentence, and comes framed on whoever's talking, with a hook score.

  4. Captions in 50+ languages, and no watermark on any plan

OpusClip's pricing page lists AI captions in 20+ languages. Clyper captions in 50+, word by word, above the apps' usernames and captions, and every plan's clips download as 1080p MP4s with no watermark. OpusClip's free plan adds a watermark; its paid plans don't.
