How to clip Chris Williamson: is there a paid program?

Chris Williamson, host of the Modern Wisdom podcast, has no clipping program: no rate, rules or sign-up page from him or the show. When we checked on October 26, 2026, no campaign for its clips was live on Content Rewards, Vyro or Reach, and the one past listing we found paid for clips of a guest. Here's what that means for a motivation clip page, and how to clip his full episodes anyway.

In short

  • Chris Williamson has no clipping program: no rate, rules or sign-up page from him or Modern Wisdom, and we found nothing he's said about fan clip accounts.
  • When we checked on October 26, 2026, no campaign for Modern Wisdom clips was live on Content Rewards, Vyro or Reach. A past one paid $1 per 1,000 views for clips of Gary Vaynerchuk's appearance on the show; its $1,000 budget was spent.
  • He cuts his own clips: his main channel's Modern Wisdom Podcast Clips playlist had 1,024 videos.
  • Full episodes come out three times a week and go up on YouTube at @ChrisWillx; most of the recent ones run one to three hours, so you paste the link.
  • Without a program, nobody pays for the views and posting is his call. Clip pages earn more from campaigns and clients than from the apps' own creator programs.

Does Chris Williamson pay clippers?

Not that we could find. He has no listing of his own on Content Rewards, Vyro or Reach, and no rate, rules or sign-up page for clippers from him or Modern Wisdom. When we checked on October 26, 2026, none of the 339 clipping campaigns on Content Rewards' Discover pages named him or the show. We also found nothing he or the show has said about fan clip accounts, permission or takedowns.

He makes plenty of short-form himself. His YouTube channel (“Life is hard. This podcast will help.”) had 4,845 videos when we checked, and its clips playlist alone had 1,024. If you'd rather clip someone who pays clippers, see the streamers and creators who pay clippers.

The one past campaign that paid for Modern Wisdom footage

On Content Rewards, an account named GaryVee Clips listed “GaryVee's Clipping Campaign” on February 4, 2026, to “clip footage of Gary Vaynerchuk's appearance on Modern Wisdom podcast with Chris Williamson”. It paid for clips of the guest, not of the show as a whole, and the listing doesn't say Chris or the show had a part in it. Content Rewards doesn't mark GaryVee Clips as verified. When we checked on October 26, 2026, the listing showed:

  • $1 per 1,000 views on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, from $1 to $250 a clip.
  • A $1,000 budget, all of it spent, on 66 approved clips from 22 clippers with about 645,000 views. It was paused.
  • Its rules: every clip from that one appearance, a page whose audience is at least 40% Tier 1 (with a screenshot of its demographics), and “No drama bait, misleading content, and nothing clipped out of context.”

Gary's other past campaign, for a different show, is on how to clip GaryVee.

That's the pattern to watch for: a guest, or someone promoting one, paying for clips of their own episode. Search the live listings on Content Rewards, Vyro and Reach for “Modern Wisdom”, “Williamson” and the names of recent guests, check who posted a listing, and never pay to join one. Where to find full Modern Wisdom episodes

Full episodes are on his YouTube channel, @ChrisWillx, which had 4.47 million subscribers when we checked. The cleanest list is the Modern Wisdom playlist on its Podcasts tab (1,153 episodes), which holds only full episodes. The Videos tab mixes them with his own cuts, most 9 to 15 minutes, and the odd training session. There's no Live tab.

New episodes come out three times a week: every Monday, Thursday and Saturday in the podcast feed since late July 2026. Each video's description says podcast apps get “every episode 10 hours before YouTube”, so wait for the YouTube upload: Clyper takes YouTube links and uploads, not podcast apps. Most episodes are one long conversation, titled with an idea and the guest, like “Willpower Expert: The Secret To Effortless Discipline - Angela Duckworth” (October 3, 2026, 1:41:14). There are also group episodes in series, like Mostly Wise and Rabbit Hole, and debates, roundtables and Q&As.

The 30 latest ran from 1 hour 7 minutes to 3 hours 5 minutes, 27 of them one to three hours. Of the 100 latest, one ran past Clyper's 4-hour limit: Alex Hormozi's “33 Brutal Truths To Stop Wasting Your Potential”, at 4 hours 8 minutes.

What clips well from Modern Wisdom for motivation and self-improvement pages

His guests lately range from psychologists and scientists to athletes and founders: Angela Duckworth on discipline, the positive psychologist Martin Seligman, Robert Greene, Shaan Puri and Sam Sulek. Three kinds of moment travel well from them:

  • Numbered lessons. “9 Harsh Truths No One Wants To Admit - Shaan Puri” and “33 Brutal Truths To Stop Wasting Your Potential - Alex Hormozi” are built as lists, and each truth gets its own chapter, like “The 3-Step Formula for Winning” or “You're Not Behind, You're Just Early”. A lesson that makes sense without the others is a clip (see also how to clip Alex Hormozi).
  • An expert's answer to one question. Many of the chapters in the descriptions are questions: Duckworth's episode has “Discipline: Is It Willpower or Engrained?”, “Can Grit Lead to Burnout?” and “When to Push Harder and When to Change Direction”. Open the clip on Chris's question and end on the answer's point.
  • A guest's turning point. Some of his own cuts are one person's story: “I Was A Loser Until I Was 39” from Robert Greene's episode, or “The Rock Bottom Moment That Almost Ruined Dr K”. A story with a clear start and end needs no setup from the rest of the episode.

Each description lists the episode's sponsors with their offer links; if a clip lands on a sponsor read, trim it out. Clyper finds moments like these in the transcript, cuts each on whole sentences, frames whoever is talking and scores each clip's hook, so you can post the strongest first.

Clipping Chris Williamson without a program

Without a program, a campaign or a clear yes from him, you don't have permission to post the show's footage, nobody pays for the views, and clips of someone else's podcast can be taken down. Crediting him doesn't change that. See is clipping legal?

On YouTube, a channel of other people's clips can also be refused monetization under the reused content policy, which applies “even if you have permission from the original creator”; clips edited together with little or no narrative aren't allowed, while footage where you add a storyline and commentary can be. If a campaign for the show opens, its brief is your permission for what it covers, and a paid clip needs an ad disclosure. The GaryVee campaign's rule is a good one either way: nothing clipped out of context.

What a motivation clip page can earn from instead

Clips of a show that hasn't asked for them earn little on their own. Here's where the money for clippers is:

  • Campaigns that pay per view. Creators, guests and brands list them on the marketplaces. The clipping programs page lists who pays now.
  • Clients. Coaches, authors and podcasters who post long videos every week and want clips of their own episodes pay clippers to make them. See how to get clipping clients.
  • The apps' own programs, mostly not. YouTube shares Shorts ad revenue with channels in its Partner Program, but re-uploads and unedited clips of other people's videos don't earn (how much YouTube Shorts pays). TikTok's Creator Rewards pays only for original content (how much TikTok pays), and Instagram doesn't pay per view (how much Instagram pays).

How to clip Chris Williamson with Clyper

  1. 1
Check for a campaign first. Search Content Rewards, Vyro and Reach for Modern Wisdom, Williamson and recent guests, and check who runs any listing. On October 26, 2026, there was none live, and without one nobody pays for the views.
  2. 2
Open youtube.com/@ChrisWillx, go to Podcasts and open Modern Wisdom, which lists only full episodes. Open one, skim the chapters in its description for the ideas you want, then copy its link (Share, then Copy).
  3. 3
Paste the link into Clyper. Angela Duckworth's episode, at 1 hour 41 minutes, uses 102 credits, and every recent episode is long enough for up to 30 clips. Pick how many you want, or let Clyper choose, and pick a caption style.
  4. 4
Go through the clips in the editor, strongest hook first. Trim so each opens on the question or the line that sets up the point, check the captions on guests' names and studies, and change the layout if both Chris and the guest should be on screen. Then download the 1080 × 1920 MP4s, with no watermark.
  5. 5
Post from your own account and credit the show and the guest. Under a campaign, add its tags and ad disclosure and submit the post's link where the listing says.

The longest of the 30 latest episodes ran 3 hours 5 minutes, inside Clyper's 4-hour limit, so nearly every episode goes in whole. The odd one that runs longer, like the Hormozi episode at 4 hours 8 minutes, doesn't.

What it costs

A credit is a minute of video, so a plan is how much video you can clip in a month, however many clips it makes. A 2-hour episode uses 120 credits and can give up to 30 clips.

Questions

Does Chris Williamson pay clippers?

Not that we could find. He has no clipping program, and we found nothing from him or Modern Wisdom about paying clippers. When we checked on October 26, 2026, no campaign for the show's clips was live on Content Rewards, Vyro or Reach.

Is there a Modern Wisdom clipping campaign?

Not a live one when we checked on October 26, 2026. The one past listing we found, by an account named GaryVee Clips on Content Rewards, paid $1 per 1,000 views for clips of Gary Vaynerchuk's appearance on the show, up to $250 a clip; its $1,000 budget was spent and it was paused. It paid for clips of the guest, and doesn't say the show had a part in it.

Can I post Chris Williamson clips on my page?

You can post them, but without a program or his permission nobody pays for the views and they can be taken down. On YouTube, a channel of reposted clips can also be refused monetization under the reused content policy, even with permission.

Where are full Modern Wisdom episodes?

On YouTube at @ChrisWillx, in the Modern Wisdom playlist on its Podcasts tab, three times a week. The 30 latest ran from 1 hour 7 minutes to 3 hours 5 minutes. Podcast apps get each episode about 10 hours before YouTube, but Clyper takes the YouTube link.

Does Modern Wisdom have a clips channel?

Not a separate one that we found: his clips are on his main channel, @ChrisWillx, in the Modern Wisdom Podcast Clips playlist (1,024 videos), most of the recent ones 9 to 15 minutes long.

Can you make money from Chris Williamson clips?

Not from him: there's no program. The apps' own programs mostly don't pay for clips of other people's videos either. Motivation clip pages earn from campaigns that pay per view, including guests' campaigns for clips of their own episodes, and from clients who pay for clips of their own videos.
