Lainey Wilson clipping campaign: how to clip her studio footage and get paid
Yes: a campaign on Content Rewards pays for clips of Lainey Wilson, from an approved folder of her and John Mayer writing “Kinda Love It” in the studio. It's posted by The Clip Ship, a clipping agency Content Rewards marks as verified, not by Lainey Wilson. When we checked on October 27, 2026, it paid $1 per 1,000 views on TikTok and Instagram, from $2 to $200 a clip, with $802 of its $1,000 budget left.

Does Lainey Wilson pay clippers?
Not through a program of her own that we found: there's no page under her name on Content Rewards, Reach or Whop. What there is: campaigns for clips of her, run by an agency. “Lainey Wilson | Week 8” went live on Content Rewards on October 19, 2026, in the Music category, posted by The Clip Ship, an organization Content Rewards marks as verified. The Clip Ship had launched 216 campaigns there, and most of those it listed when we checked were for musicians; its Whop describes it as “Building the future of content distribution.” The listing doesn't say who pays for the campaign, and nothing on it comes from Lainey Wilson or her team.
It looks like a series. Its name says Week 8, and The Clip Ship's earlier “Lainey Wilson - Part 6”, launched on September 10, 2026, asked clippers to “create content using the approved assets folder in the brief to drive awareness to Lainey Wilson.” The Clip Ship's page there didn't list its paused campaigns, Part 6 among them, and we couldn't find the other weeks. Like the Flamingo campaign, it hands you the footage to clip. Others who pay clippers are on the clipping programs list.
How much the Lainey Wilson campaign pays
When we checked on October 27, 2026, the listing paid the same on the two apps it counts:
| On TikTok and Instagram | |
|---|---|
| Rate | $1 per 1,000 views |
| Least a clip is paid | $2, so a clip needs 2,000 views |
| Most a clip is paid | $200, reached at 200,000 views |
| Budget | $1,000, with $198 spent and $802 left |
| Clippers | 15 joined |
| To join | No application |
The rest is Content Rewards' usual terms: every clip is reviewed before it's paid, an approved clip earns for 7 days, the payout is held 3 more days, and Content Rewards keeps a flat 10% of what you earn. The budget is shared by everyone who joins. Part 6 paid the same rate, up to $250 a clip, and had spent all $1,000 when we checked. More in Whop clipping, explained.
The rules your Lainey Wilson clips have to follow
The listing's description, in full: “Post clips from the approved folder of Lainey Wilson and John Mayer writing ‘Kinda Love It’ in the studio. Viewers should come away wanting to hear the song and follow Lainey.” The folder isn't on the public page: it's in the brief, with one reference file, which Content Rewards shows only to clippers who join. It lists no other rules. So:
- Clip only the approved folder. Her music videos and other uploads aren't what the listing pays for.
- Point to the song and to her. A clip should leave viewers wanting to hear “Kinda Love It” and follow her.
- Post on TikTok or Instagram, the only two apps it pays on, and submit within 30 minutes of posting. Leave the post as it is after you submit it: edited or deleted posts, the wrong app and missing disclosure are among the usual reasons for rejection.
- Say it's paid. Content Rewards' terms make the ad disclosure your job, clear and at the start of the video.
The listing, not this page, decides what's paid, and a campaign can change or close at any time, so check it before you clip.
Where the Lainey Wilson footage is
In the campaign's folder, which you get once you join: download the files and upload them to Clyper, which takes videos from 1 minute to 4 hours long. The song itself is out. Her YouTube channel, @LaineyWilson (849K subscribers when we checked), premiered “Lainey Wilson - Kinda Love It (Official Music Video)” on October 8, 2026, after a Short on October 5 titled “Can't wait for y'all to hear what we've been cooking up… I kinda love it.”
Long videos are rare there: 28 of her latest 30 uploads ran under six minutes, mostly music videos and live performances. Besides a holiday livestream from about nine months ago, the longest is “Lainey Wilson & John Mayer Talk “Phone, Keys, Wallet”” (September 25, 2026, 12:20), the two of them talking through how they wrote and recorded that song. It isn't in the campaign's folder, so it doesn't count here.
What clips well from Lainey Wilson's studio footage
The listing sets the goal: viewers should want to hear the song and follow her. So a clip works when it's one moment that stands on its own and leaves the listener wanting the rest of the song, best with the song itself in it. Name the song on screen or in the caption, and end on the music rather than on a cut-off sentence.
Clyper picks moments from what's said and cuts each on whole sentences, 20 to 60 seconds long. Its auto reframe keeps whoever's talking in the vertical frame, so check in the editor that she stays in it when both are on screen. Animated captions carry the talk with the sound off. If a file in the folder is under a minute, it's a clip already: caption it with the add captions tool and cut it with the video trimmer.
Permission to clip Lainey Wilson, and posting
The campaign covers what its listing says: clips of the approved folder, on TikTok and Instagram, under Content Rewards' terms, while its budget lasts. Clips of her music videos or performances aren't part of it, and outside a campaign nobody pays for the views. See is clipping legal?
It doesn't pay for YouTube Shorts. If you post there as well, campaign pay doesn't apply, and a channel of clips from someone else's footage can be refused monetization under YouTube's reused content policy.
How to clip Lainey Wilson with Clyper
- 1Join the campaign on Content Rewards and open its brief and reference file for the approved folder of the “Kinda Love It” writing session.
- 2Download the files from the folder and upload one that runs 1 minute or longer to Clyper, which takes files up to 4 hours long. A shorter file is a clip already.
- 3Every file uses at least 10 credits; a 10-minute one uses 10 and can give up to 5 clips. Pick how many you want, up to one for every 2 minutes and 30 a video, or let Clyper choose, and pick a caption style.
- 4In the editor, keep the moments that make the song the point, check that she's in frame and the captions are right, and download the 1080 × 1920 MP4s, with no watermark.
- 5Post each clip on TikTok or Instagram with your ad disclosure, then submit the post's link on Content Rewards within 30 minutes.

|---|---|
| 10,000 | $10 |
| 100,000 | $100 |
| 250,000 | $200 |
